Consultation
We offer complimentary phone consultations that we use to determine if your child would benefit from a comprehensive evaluation.
During the consultation we have the opportunity to learn more about you and answer any questions you may have. We ask that all prospective clients have a current hearing screening prior to beginning the assessment process.
Evaluation
A speech-language evaluation will be conducted to determine the diagnosis and to develop a targeted approach to your child’s treatment.
A typical evaluation consists of history review, informal observations, questionnaires, and formal standardized assessment. Afterward, we review our findings and develop a treatment plan for future visits if necessary. We will present and discuss the results of the evaluation with you during your child’s first treatment visit and answer any questions you may have.
Treatment
Our therapists will develop a proven treatment plan in conjunction with the family to determine goals. A wide range of therapy techniques will be used to ensure your child has the opportunity to maximize their potential.
Sessions are one on one and usually last 60 minutes. Most therapy recommendations are once to twice per week depending on your child’s individual needs. After each session, we will share with you what was focused on and provide you with ideas for at home practice. We know that you are critical to your child’s success.
